For example, we use Shopify to support personalized advertising with third-party services based on your online activity with different merchants and websites. Our business and marketing partners will use your information in accordance with their own privacy notices. Relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve the Services for you. Information you submit to the Services will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify as well as third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside, in order to provide and improve the Services for you. In addition, to help protect, grow, and improve our business, we use certain Shopify enhanced features that incorporate data and information obtained from your interactions with our Store, along with other merchants and with Shopify. To provide these enhanced features, Shopify may make use of personal information collected about your interactions with our store, along with other merchants, and with Shopify. In these circumstances, Shopify is responsible for the processing of your personal information, including for responding to your requests to exercise your rights over use of your personal information for these purposes. To learn more about how Shopify uses your personal information and any rights you may have, you can visit the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy . Depending on where you live, you may exercise certain rights with respect to your personal information here Shopify Privacy Portal Link.
Providers That Process Your Data
To provide the Services, we share only the information that is necessary with the following providers. Most of them act as processors: they handle the data on our instructions and with the safeguards required by law. Where a provider decides for itself how it uses the data, it acts as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
- Store platform: Shopify (store hosting, customer accounts, checkout, order management and order emails).
- Payments: Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe) and PayPal. Your card details are entered in the secure Shopify or PayPal checkout and are handled directly by those providers: we never see or store your full card number. If you pay with your PayPal account, PayPal acts as an independent controller.
- Shipping and delivery: carriers such as Correos, Correos Express, DPD, UPS or FedEx, which receive your name, address, phone number and email to deliver your order and keep you informed about it. If a shipment enters or leaves the European Union, this data and the contents of the parcel may also be passed to customs agents and authorities.
- Manufacturers and suppliers that ship directly: some products are shipped directly by the manufacturer or distributor (for example, through Shopify Collective). In that case we give them what they need to ship: name, address, phone number and the items ordered.
- Email: Shopify and our email delivery provider (Resend) for emails about your order, and Mailchimp, connected to the store to manage the newsletter and marketing communications.
- Reviews: Judge.me, to ask for your feedback after a purchase and to publish the reviews you choose to submit.
- Analytics and advertising: Microsoft (Clarity and Microsoft Advertising), Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), as explained under "Cookies, Analytics and Microsoft Clarity".
- Virtual assistant: OpenAI and Vercel, as explained under "AI Virtual Assistant".
- Advisers and other professionals: tax, accounting and legal advisers, banks and insurers, where necessary to meet our obligations or defend our rights.
We do not sell your personal information for money. For personalised advertising, see "Your Rights and Choices".
Cookies, Analytics and Microsoft Clarity
We use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage and device identifiers). Some are strictly necessary for the store to work (cart, login, checkout, security and remembering your privacy choices) and do not require your consent. Analytics, personalisation and marketing cookies are only activated if you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time by deleting our site's cookies in your browser, which makes the banner appear again, or by writing to info@raceit.cc.
Microsoft Clarity. We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Specifically, Clarity records, in pseudonymised form, how you browse the site: pages visited, clicks, scrolling, mouse or finger movements, time on each page, device and browser type, screen size, approximate location (country or region, derived from your IP address) and technical errors. This lets us see aggregated heatmaps and session replays that help us find design and usability problems. By default, Clarity masks sensitive information you type into forms, it does not show us your IP address, and we do not link its data to your name or customer account. Payments take place in Shopify's secure checkout, and your card details are never accessible to Clarity.
Our store automatically passes your banner choice to Microsoft: Clarity only uses cookies if you accept analytics cookies, and Microsoft's advertising features only if you accept marketing cookies. Without your consent, Clarity does not store cookies or persistent identifiers on your device. The legal basis is your consent. Under Microsoft's current terms, session recordings are kept for 30 days (up to 13 months for those we flag for review) and aggregated data for up to 13 months. Microsoft may process this data in the United States; it is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and uses standard contractual clauses.
Main Microsoft Clarity cookies (approximate maximum duration):
- _clck (1 year): stores your browser's Clarity identifier and preferences, to recognise later visits.
- _clsk (1 day): groups the pages you visit into one session.
- CLID (1 year): records the first time Clarity saw your browser.
- MUID (up to 13 months): Microsoft browser identifier, used for analytics and advertising.
- ANONCHK, MR and SM (session to 7 days): synchronise and refresh the MUID identifier.
Other analytics and advertising tools. With your consent we also use Google Analytics and Google Ads, the Meta pixel for Facebook and Instagram, and Shopify analytics, to measure visits and sales, see which campaigns work and show you relevant ads on other platforms. These tools are loaded through Shopify's privacy system, which only lets them run according to what you chose in the banner. Each provider also processes the data under its own privacy policy: Google and Meta.
AI Virtual Assistant
On our website you can use our virtual assistant (RACEIT Assistant) for questions about products, compatibility and builds. It runs on artificial intelligence: to generate each answer, the text you type is sent to OpenAI, which acts as our processor. The service is hosted on Vercel.
- We do not store the content of your conversations or link it to your name, account or orders. We only keep aggregated, anonymous statistics (number of conversations and questions, products viewed and the value of sales attributed to the assistant).
- To prevent abuse, we temporarily use a transformed, irreversible version (hash) of your IP address to limit the number of messages.
- Under its terms, OpenAI does not use data received through its API to train its models and may keep it for a limited time (usually up to 30 days) for security purposes.
- Please do not type personal data that isn't needed into the chat, such as health or payment data or passwords. For anything about an order, write to info@raceit.cc.
- Answers are generated automatically and may contain errors. They are for guidance only and are not an offer or a guarantee: the price, availability, compatibility and specifications shown on the product page and in your order confirmation always prevail. If something important is unclear, ask us before you buy.
- Using the assistant is optional. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your questions or, when you ask about a product you want to buy, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Emails About Your Order
While your order is open, we send you the emails needed to handle it: confirmation, a notice that it has been packed and is waiting for the carrier, shipping and tracking and, where relevant, customs instructions or notices about any issue. These are service messages, not advertising, and are necessary to perform the sales contract, so they have no unsubscribe option. We only send you marketing communications (newsletter and offers) if you have subscribed or, if you are already a customer, about products similar to those you bought, as permitted by Article 21 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every marketing email or by writing to info@raceit.cc.
Third Party Websites and Links
The Services may provide links to websites or other online platforms operated by third parties. If you follow links to sites not affiliated or controlled by us, you should review their privacy and security policies and other terms and conditions. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the privacy or security of such sites, including the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information found on these sites. Information you provide on public or semi-public venues, including information you share on third-party social networking platforms may also be viewable by other users of the Services and/or users of those third-party platforms without limitation as to its use by us or by a third party. Our inclusion of such links does not, by itself, imply any endorsement of the content on such platforms or of their owners or operators, except as disclosed on the Services.
Children's Data
The Services are not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with their personal information, you may contact us using the contact details set out below to request that it be deleted. As of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we "share" or "sell" (as those terms are defined in applicable law) personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
Security and Retention of Your Information
Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee "perfect security." In addition, any information you send to us may not be secure while in transit. We recommend that you do not use unsecure channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us.
How long we retain your personal information depends on different factors, such as whether we need the information to maintain your account, to provide you with Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce other applicable contracts and policies.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights listed below in relation to your personal information. However, these rights are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances and, in certain cases, we may decline your request as permitted by law.
- Right to Access / Know. You may have a right to request access to personal information that we hold about you.

You can exercise your rights to opt-out of those uses here. Please note that if you visit our website with the Global Privacy Control opt-out preference signal enabled, depending on where you are, we will automatically treat this as a request to opt-out for the device and browser that you use to visit the website. If we are able to associate the device sending the signal to a Shopify account, we will apply the opt out request to the account as well. To learn more about Global Privacy Control, you can visit https://globalprivacycontrol.org/. Other than the Global Privacy Control, we do not recognize other "Do Not Track" signals that may be sent from your web browser or device.
- Managing Communication Preferences. We may send you promotional emails, and you may opt out of receiving these at any time by using the unsubscribe option displayed in our emails to you. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your account or orders that you have made.
If you reside in the UK or European Economic Area, and subject to exceptions and limitations provided by local law, you may exercise the following rights in addition to the rights outlined above:
- Objection to Processing and Restriction of Processing: You may have the right to ask us to stop or restrict our processing of personal information for certain purposes.
- Withdrawal of Consent: Where we rely on consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw this consent. If you withdraw your consent, this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing based on your consent before its withdrawal.
You may exercise any of these rights where indicated on the Services or by contacting us using the contact details provided below. To learn more about how Shopify uses your personal information and any rights you may have, including rights related to data processed by Shopify, you can visit https://privacy.shopify.com/en.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We may need to verify your identity before we can process your requests, as permitted or required under applicable law. In accordance with applicable laws, you may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf to exercise your rights. Before accepting such a request from an agent, we will require that the agent provide proof you have authorized them to act on your behalf, and we may need you to verify your identity directly with us. We will respond to your request in a timely manner as required under applicable law.
Complaints
If you have complaints about how we process your personal information, please contact us using the contact details provided below. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to appeal our decision by contacting us using the contact details set out below, or lodge your complaint with your local data protection authority. International Transfers
Please note that we may transfer, store and process your personal information outside the country you live in.

Exercising your rights and supervisory authority. You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@raceit.cc and stating which right you wish to exercise. Minors. You must be of legal age to buy in the store. In Spain, only people aged 14 or over can consent to the processing of their data on their own.
Security and data breaches. We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, such as encrypted connections, access controls and providers with security guarantees. If a security breach affecting your data occurred, we would notify the supervisory authority and, where the law requires it, you as well.
Transfers outside the EEA. Some providers (such as Shopify, Microsoft, Google, Meta, OpenAI, Vercel, Mailchimp or Resend) may process data in the United States or other countries. In those cases the transfer is based on a European Commission adequacy decision, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for certified companies, or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission, with any additional safeguards required.
