Usage

Gels are often used when it is not possible to eat a bar (for example, due to an elevated heart rate), such as during activities like running. They can also be used in hockey, for example during breaks or substitutions. In cycling, gels are often used at the end of strenuous workouts or during periods when the heart rate is elevated, such as when climbing a mountain. Recommended use: Take 1 to 3 gels per hour of exertion.

Drink Gel can be ideally combined with products from the Energy range: Energy Nougat, Energy Fruit Chew, Energy Drink, Fast Bar and Ice Gel.

Nutritional values per gel (60 ml):

  • Energy: 502 kJ / 120 kcal
  • Fat: 0 g
  • Carbohydrates: 30 g, of which sugars 12.4 g
  • Salt: 0.5 g (200 mg of sodium)

The Cola + Caffeine variant provides 75 mg of caffeine per gel (125 mg/100 ml). The other flavors (Citrus, Orange, Strawberry, Raspberry) are caffeine-free.
