My impressions with the Evolve Cima Frame have been super good in absolutely every aspect. I came from a Specialized SL8 Expert (not S-Works), which was already very good, but the switch to the Evolve was no coincidence. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it on Instagram, especially in the Nirvana black color. Visually it resembles the SL8, but once you try it, it’s completely different.
The Evolve clearly feels more aerodynamic, and the combination with the Evolve Kreuza cockpit delivers greater stiffness than the Roval I had before. I’m not saying it’s better or worse, but definitely stiffer, and for me that translates into a much more responsive bike, especially when making pace changes and intervals.
On flat terrain it’s absolutely crazy. Riding at 35–40 km/h feels easy, without pushing too hard (at least for me). The bike is very fast. Still, it’s not uncomfortable at all, despite being clearly racing-oriented.
it’s like a true MotoGP bike: it accelerates, gains speed easily, and takes corners with incredible precision. It inspires confidence and invites you to go fast.
Climbing also surprises, because it’s very light and you can feel how fast it lets you go uphill. It responds to every pedal stroke and makes you want to stand up and push.
Today I can say I’m super, super happy. The change was a 100% success, and overall, for me it’s better than the SL8 Expert. I’ve tested many bikes: Giant TCR, KTM Revelator, Aurum Magma, SL8… and without a doubt, I choose the Evolve.
I don’t mind at all that it’s a Chinese frame. Many people are reluctant, but in my experience it’s just as well made or even better than other brands, and on top of that at a much more affordable price. In fact, I don’t rule out trying more Chinese frames in the future.
My current setup:
➡️ Evolve Cima Frame
➡️ Evolve Kreuza Handlebar
➡️ Farsports EVO 5S Wheels
A clearly racing bike, fast, responsive, and with brutal performance on flats, descents, and climbs. For me, a 10/10. 🔝
