Winspace T1600: a modern, fast, and very “planted” aero bike

The Winspace T1600 is a carbon aero bike designed to go fast… and stay fast when the pace gets serious. It is a very stable, “planted” Frame, with a clear sense of security when descending hard, riding through roundabouts, or tucked into the echelon.

Its construction combines different high-modulus carbon fibers with Kevlar reinforcements in key areas, seeking a balance between stiffness, weight, and strength. The result is a competitive aero Frame in terms of weight for its category, with geometry clearly focused on performance: a low position, deep down tube, compact chainstays, and an oversized head tube for a very precise front end.

Aerodynamics designed for real-world use

The T1600 was developed as an evolution of the T1550, with a more aggressive tube design and specific details to reduce air resistance:

deep, clean tubes,
dropped seatstays,
fully internal cable routing through the ACR system,
and details on the fork and rear triangle that better channel airflow around the wheels and Frame.

In internal testing, Winspace claims an improvement of several watts at high speed compared with the previous generation, which fits the riding impressions: it is a bike that maintains cruising speed extremely well and encourages you to ride fast on flat roads and false flats.

Road performance

What stands out most about the T1600 is that combination of aero feel and stability:

On flat roads and fast climbs, the bike encourages you to get out of the saddle and accelerate; it responds quickly when you push the watts.
On long descents or fast corners, it inspires a great deal of confidence: it is not nervous, but rather “planted,” which is especially welcome when riding hard in a group or racing.
The stiffness of the Frame–headset–bottom bracket area means the bike never feels “soft” when sprinting or accelerating while seated.

At the same time, clearance for tires up to 32 mm allows you to fit wider tires and run lower pressures, helping to improve comfort and grip without sacrificing efficiency.
